At a young age, a severe accident involving a plastic tube shredded his soft palate. Doctors warned his parents that he might never speak properly again. Instead of accepting that verdict, David found inspiration in the radio presenters whose voices filled his childhood, and made a decision that would define the next thirty years of his life.
